Students, teachers participating in ‘Take Home’ summer school

Students at three elementary schools in Van Buren Public Schools are staying home for summer school - Take Home Calendar Summer School. The idea is the brainchild of Edgemont Principal Karen Mida and her staff. It all started when the district discovered a surplus of Title I Federal funding at the end of this school year.

Hechavarria Joins Fisher Cats

Manchester, NH-The Toronto Blue Jays, parent club of the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats, today announced that they have transferred 21-year-old shortstop Adeiny Hechavarriato the Fisher Cats from the Advanced-A Dunedin Blue Jays.
